A Corporate Give-Back Event With Real Community Impact
During the event, Acadia Pharmaceuticals employees participated in three meaningful build stations, each designed to create a lasting impact in the community:
Little Free Libraries - built to promote literacy, curiosity, and access to books
Skateboards - assembled to encourage confidence, movement, and positive youth development
Mini Garden Kits - created to support hands-on learning, nutrition education, and connection to nature
Each activity was intentionally selected to be inclusive, engaging, and purpose-driven, allowing every participant to contribute - regardless of age, role, or skillset.
Supporting Local Nonprofits Across Colorado
The items built during the event were donated to two incredible organizations serving children and families in Colorado:
📚 Grand Kids Learning Center - Winter Park, CO
Grand Kids Learning Center supports early childhood education and enrichment programs, helping young learners build strong foundations for lifelong success. The Little Free Libraries and Garden Kits will provide ongoing opportunities for learning, creativity, and growth.
🛹 Cross Roads Kids Club -Colorado Springs, CO
Cross Roads Kids Club serves youth through mentorship, enrichment programs, and safe spaces for growth. The donated skateboards and educational resources will help encourage confidence, play, and positive community connection.
By aligning the event with real community needs, Acadia Pharmaceuticals ensured their give-back effort extended far beyond the day itself.
